New Opportunities for the CMP Laboratory

The Central Plant Laboratory (CPL) was established in 1956 on the basis of the workshop chemical laboratory.

The laboratory's highly qualified staff performs analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, as well as scientific research aimed at improving technological processes. The CPL structure includes spectral, chemical, and scientific research groups. The laboratory is equipped with modern facilities, which are regularly updated.​

Currently, the services provided by CPL include the analysis of metallic lithium, lithium compounds (carbonate, chloride, and hydroxide), limestone, lime, inert hydrophobic dust, mineral powder, and certain sources of alkali metals (Na, K, Rb, Cs).

In 2022, the analytical laboratory of CPL JSC CMP was accredited in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019) by the Accreditation Center "Analitika" (accreditation certificate number: AAC.A.00607 dated 22.02.2022), positioning it as a leader in the field of analyses both in the Russian and international markets. The laboratory's accreditation is scheduled for renewal in 2026.
