CMP Participates at the Lithium 2025 Forum as a Speaker

Moscow, October 7, 2025 — Nikolai Vorogushin, Chief Geologist of JSC "Chemical-metallurgical Plant" (CMP), made presentation at the industry forum "Lithium 2025", organized by CREON Group. In his speech he outlined the main challenges and development paths for Russia's lithium industry.

During his report "Reviving lithium mining in Russia" Nikolai Vorogushin highlighted key challenges: the country's high dependence on raw material imports, outdated resource base, lack of infrastructure and necessary technologies, regulatory imperfections.

The presentation included concrete solutions to overcome the crisis: development of non-traditional lithium sources, such as hydromineral resources and anthropogenic deposits, introduction of legislative amendments to fast-track pilot projects.

According to CMP expert, the implementation of these measures will enable Russia to establish its own raw material base, ensure technological breakthrough and stimulate regional development.
