JSC “CMP” met with delegation from the province of La Rioja, Argentina in Moscow, Russia to talk over cooperation in the lithium field

On April 24 in Moscow JSC “Chemical-metallurgical plant” (CMP) met with official delegation from the province of La Rioja, Argentina, headed by Governor Ricardo Clemente Quintela. The main topic of the negotiations was development of lithium deposits in Argentina and organization of strategic raw materials supply.

General Director Lev Tretyakov and Chief Geologist Nikolay Vorogushin participated in the discussions from CMP side. Both parties confirmed their mutual interest in development of lithium projects in Argentina and prepared agreement, fixing further steps for the implementation of these projects.
