Industrial Research Cluster "Lithium"

On May 27, 2022, technical specialists from the Chemical-Metallurgical Plant (JSC "CMP") and the All-Russian Research Institute of Mineral Raw Materials named after N. M. Fedorovsky (FSBI "VIMS") met in Krasnoyarsk

CMP proposed to create a joint Industrial Research Cluster of rare metals "Lithium".

Research on geology, exploration, enrichment and processing of highly demanded lithium battery raw materials on the basis of CMP facilities in Krasnoyarsk was mutual approved the Scientific Technical Center.

Experts from CMP and VIMS identified the promising tasks of the center and priority areas for development of technologies.

Later, MISIS and Siberian Federal University also became part of the Cluster.
