CMP’s Limestone Quarry. Lime in Production of Lithium Hydroxide

Lime is important component in the production of lithium hydroxide (LiOH). It has substantial influence on the production technology.

CMP produces lime of high quality since 1956 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Today the plant has the capacity of 120 000 MT of lime.

CMP has its own limestone quarry. It is located several kilometers from the plant.

CMP has access to the production technologies of:

• Limestone;
• Mineral powder;
• Inert dust;
• Quicklime;
• Powdered quicklime;
• Hydrated lime.

CMP produces and supplies these products at the Russian market.
